Stand Children's Services Tū Māia Whanau are looking for a Practice Leader/ Pou Heke for our Otago region.

This journey is from Te Kore, as a state of despair and hopelessness to a realisation of potential within the darkness of Te Po and through to Te Ao Marama which is transformative light and enlightenment.

The focus of the Intensive Family Wraparound Service is to address trauma and associated challenges for children and young people through a therapeutic and multi-systemic approach to facilitate change within the family/whanau, school and their community.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a SWRB registered Social Worker.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience and/or capacity
  • Understand a therapeutic approach to Social Work Services,
  • Utilize a suite of Trauma Informed approaches
  • Demonstrate practice underpinned by Relational and Therapeutic Social Work
  • Confident in Microsoft office and database systems skills.

This role is based from our Dunedin office, travel to meet the needs of clients across our catchment area is a fundamental requirement for the position.

A full NZ Driver Licence is therefore essential as are Police Vetting and background checks in accordance with VCA requirements.

This is a full time role/ 80 hours per fortnight.

On call responsibilities rostered 1/3 weeks Mon-Fri
