Team Leader - Therapeutic Care and Education

The vision of Stand Tū Māia is Tāmatatia and Tiakanga. That tamariki and whānau who experience multiple forms of adversity will have their safety and wellbeing restored and preserved for future generations.   • Understanding and valuing of Te Ao Māori
  • Ability to lead in a bicultural environment and sustain commitment to the promise of equity laid down by Te Tiriti
  • Capability to lead others to deeply engage, motivate and offer consistent kindness to tamariki and whānau.
  • Proven ability in working with complex group dynamics
  • Knowledge and ability on how to address the impacts of trauma on child development and attachment
  • Belief in the importance of teamwork, partnership and collaboration
  • Post Grad or Masters level qualification in professional supervision
  • Commitment to, and competence in, line-management and professional supervision
  • Enjoyment of working in an inter-disciplinary team sharing tools and theories to inform and continually improve practice
  • An eye for detail and valuing of clinical governance relating to practice observations, incidents, and managing risk.
  • Registered social worker and current practicing certificate preferred
  • Rostered shift work is a requirement of the role
  • Full driver's licence
